Our Mission
Shine Foundation's mission is to serve the special needs community with care, compassion, and love. We believe that each person has been gifted with characteristics that make them shine amongst their peers and community; no matter their difference or challenge. We strive to help each individual achieve their full potential in life through education, connection, and advocacy

Meeting each individual with special needs at their learning level, skill, and style through life skills. Empowering them to be active in their community for their own well being and independence.

A note from
Shine Academy Founders
Shine academy is a project inspired by our son, Quinn. He has a diagnosis of a chromosome disorder, heart disease, and autism. The school system failed to meet his needs and as family and community effort we created Shine Academy. Shine Academy is a program that meets the individual where they are, using their interests and strengths to make them successful in community and life skills. We believe your soul was made to shine... Let it shine.

Learning Through Life Skills and Community Engagement
Tuesday - Thursday 10:00am - 2:00pm
Shine Academy's main goal is to focus on each participant as an individual and unlock what motivates them to learn while simultaneously working on skills that will benefit them in life. Students get to experience community in a real time life skills setting that sparks interest and connects them with their community.
